New Life For Old T-shirt
There was a huge stain on the front of my son's shirt. It was the kind of stain that maybe you couldn't see in certain light... so for months he's been wearing it anyway because I always forgot to throw it away. Last week while he napped I cut off the front pocket and sewed it to his t-shirt quilt.
He loved it!! But today, suddenly, it's pretty much the end of the world that Mommy cut up his favorite race car t-shirt. How could I do this to him?? Luckily, I didn't throw away the rest of the shirt yet. So I fixed it. And I love it.
And maybe I'll still be sewing this race car onto t-shirts for him when he's my age.

Craft Show
It's been awhile, but if I don't post now I never will and it'll be lost forever. So, just for the record, I'm posting pictures of my display at my first craft show which was August 14th. And it was pretty successful! The turn out wasn't great, but I had most of the sales for the day and ended up having fun and being pretty proud.

My thoughts following the show were that I'd definitely do it again, and that I'd spend LESS time preparing for it!
